Bike repairs. We have completed our maintenance of the rental bike fleet. We look forward to another great year, and to acquiring some new bikes, especially in the youth sizes. If you have any good leads or are interested in making a donation to the fleet, please contact Henry Shibata or Gus Sarmiento.
Big thank you to Aventon Bikes for the donation of three track bikes. They will be put to great use.
The motor. Some of you know that the motor used for motor-pacing has died. Henry has found and placed an order for a new bike, and we can use your help in fund-raising. We expect delivery in mid-to-late January.
Track clean-up day. Thanks to the volunteers who came out. We were able to clear about half of the top area of weeds and trash, and hope to have a follow-up session in January or February to complete the task. Those who helped were treated to several hours of free track time.
